  My parents are well respected members and regularly involved with Charter Oak Church. Our daughter on recommendation also attends their well structured pre-school program.
  
  I have had the opportunity to attend services on numerous occasions as well as meet the friendly staff and pastor. While unsure of the other reviewer's situation, I can say that if you are expecting something more academic in nature of any sermon, you are holding source material and those who teach it to a ridiculous standard. It's not rocket science, nor should it be presented that way.
  
  Secondly, I would think it's the responsibility of those receiving counsel, be it of religious nature or secular, to consider the merit of any suggestions - based on your presentation - and then make a decision of your own. If someone tells you to get a divorce - you have all rights to say no. This doesn't mean the quality of the counsel was poor.
  
  If you're looking for a friendly, well structured, and active non-mega church in the area, I would whole heartedly suggest Charter Oak Community Church.

  Took many weeks to find the right church. Estate in town lots of programs for kids

  i would definatley stay clear of this place,.the lead pastor(danny tedder) teaches at a third grade level and was totally ill equipt to minister to our family matters, even to the point of recommending divoce when infedelitiy did not exist. He should retire and let eric nelson take over.
